With a less than favorable economy going on right now with the brick and mortar businesses it’s a great time to really consider ramping up your efforts with your website.
Gas prices keep going up which means that more shoppers will go online to make purchases rather than drive to stores.
If your business is not currently eCommerce enabled you can easily start selling your products online by having an experienced website designer set up a shopping cart for you. You may be tempted to go with one of the free or cheap shopping carts but if you want to make every penny count you should leave the setup of your shopping cart website to a professional.
As you are making out your checklist you want to consider things like how you will get visitors to your site and after they are there are you giving them the message they really want to hear so they will buy from you.
If you currently own a brick and mortar store then consider advertising to your current customer base and giving them the option of buying from you online as opposed to coming to your store.
